I am building a new home in Toronto and encountered Senso through my contractor. I selected a Glengery brick months in advance. My contractor put down a deposit, and Senso informed us that the bricks were reserved. They even provided a delivery date. However, the date was pushed to the following week. To my dismay, they later called to say that the bricks reserved for us in Glengery’s warehouse were "bought up" by another purchaser who paid in full. Senso’s explanation was that Glengery did not want the bricks stored in their warehouse over the winter, which sounded absurd. Glengery, one of the largest brick manufacturers in North America, would surely have room for eight pallets of bricks on their extensive property. Something felt off.

I went on Glengery’s website, and to my surprise, Senso is not listed as one of their authorized suppliers. I suspect that Senso may have been sourcing bricks through an authorized supplier, lost access to them, and then blamed Glengery for the mishap. Senso claimed it was nobody’s fault and insisted everything was done correctly. According to them, it was all on Glengery.

This delay has caused a significant setback for my project, as we are now going to miss the brick-laying season. The house needed to be closed up by the start of November, and I am scrambling to get the bricks directly from an authorized dealer in Caledon (King Masonry) who are being very helpful – ask for Issac and Williams.

I would not deal with Senso again. Do your research.

No returns and Poor customer service

Bought brick veneer. They told me it would take a week. I called in a week and they said they forgot to order it. A week later they called to say it was ready. Went to pick it up, but only half was there. They apologized and delivered the other half to my house the next day - so bonus points for that.
I wanted to return a few boxes. In BIG BOLD letters on their wall it says 25% RESTOCKING FEE, which I was willing to pay. But they wouldn’t take it back, pointing to fine print on the invoice (which I got after I paid) saying “no returns on customs orders”. Would have been nice if they told me this at time of order or put it on their wall.
