He refused to consider ADR and instead fused 3 levels of my cervical spine. It made me remarkably worse. I am in worse pain than before and now I am losing my right arm function.

I should have paid attention to the red flags prior to the surgery - like when I asked for ADR and he hung up on me. When I came for my follow up at 6 months post op and said I was in worse pain than before and now I can’t swim, turn my head, etc, he told me maybe it would get better in another year then rudely dismissed me from his practice. No concern. No investigation. Nothing. Just dismissed. It was so awful I had a panic attack in the parking garage.

He took away my ability to do the thing I loved most - swimming. I was an avid swimmer. He knew it. And he took it from me.

I had to find another doctor who discovered one of the brackets is too large and I haven’t yet fused properly. It’s likely I’ll need a revision.

It’s my fault for trusting this sarcastic, mean, dismissive jerk.

I hope someday I’ll be able to forgive what this butcher did to me.

10/1 -18 mo. post op and still haven’t fused. The screw has nearly abraded through the top of my C7 vertebrae. I have to have another surgery. This dude dismissed me from his practice with failed fusion and didn’t even offer anything. I still can barely turn my head and am in constant pain. Trust your gut. If you question this dude even a little or show any emotion or fear he will show his true colors. Then trust your gut and run.

Dr Rosen and his staff have been outstanding. I needed back surgery due to degenerative disc disease, and he came highly recommended by several Doctors and their wives. From my very first meeting through the surgery and recovery, I couldn't have asked for better care and follow-up support. My recovery has been far quicker and better than I had imagined possible. After major surgery (3-Level decompression and fusion in the lumbar), I was back to walking 2.5 miles within 5 weeks and the progress continues. You will not find any better than Dr. Rosen and his staff.

It has been an absolute nightmare just to get a first appointment with this doctor. I was referred by Rothman Orthopedic by Andrew Alvarez for a second opinion. Once I spoke with Angel at the front desk he told me I needed to contact Crystal. She reached out to me saying I can’t make an appointment until they have everything I got done with Alvarez. I drove 40 minutes to drop off every single CD filled with MRIs CT scans and X-rays for the doctor to review. Got downstairs in my car (with a broken foot so traveling on a knee scooter) for them to tell me to come pick my CDs back up because they need all the reports from Alvarez. I specifally asked this woman prior if I could just come drop the CDs off and she said yes. I sent my husband to go pick up the CDs and I was on the phone with Angel. He transferred me over to Crystals line to speak with her about what she ACTUALLY needs. This woman picks up the phone saying “HI ANGEL!!” I said hello this isn’t Angel and she just HUNG UP ON ME!!! Thank God my husband was upstairs bc if you trying calling back in you sit on hold for 20-30 min but I had my husband put angel on the phone and his response was “sorry she hung up she thought it was me and I didn’t tell her I was transferring a client” OKAY SO WHEN SHE REALIZED SHE HAD A CLIENT ON THE PHONE THE FIRST THING SHE THOUGHT TO DO WAS TO HANG UP ON ME?!!!! knowing it’s nearly impossible to get these people on the phone !! That’s it. I’ve had enough. I don’t even know how this doctor has ANY clients because who in the hell has time to go through all this just to make an appointment ?! Such an unprofessional office. Beware!

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. This guy did surgery on me in September 2023, and it’s by far the worst decision I ever had made in my life. I’ll just list major problems!
1. Hit a blood vessel during surgery.
2. I ended up with a major spinal infection, and haven’t felt the same ever again.
3. Surgery has caused me to have the worst pain in 28 years of chronic pain.
4. I now need surgery to fix screws that aren’t holding properly.
5. The plate that was put in my Sacral area has caused a Alar Fracture of the Sacrum.
6. I now need to have further fusion surgery to extend to more levels than was done.
7. I can barely walk. I can barely get out of bed. Never ever have I had such a terrible surgery performed on my body.
8. The fusion isn’t fusing properly and I need to have some levels redone.
9. Please think twice before allowing this surgeon to perform major spinal surgery on yourself.

3/13/24— I just wanted to say thank you to David Rosen for making my life more miserable. I’m in such pain from the surgery you performed on me. Just to let you know that I have surgery scheduled for 3/28/24 to repair the havoc you caused to my spine. Great job!?

Hi, my name is Marilyn S.and I’m a Veteran.Dr.Rosen did my spinal fusion. It was the best experience ever. I was in severe chronic pain at a level nine. Now My pain level is five at that’s only because I have fibromyalgia . I can now do things that I wasn’t able to do without any pain I still have a while to heal, but with his help and his nurse Rachel, they’ve taken care of me. The whole team is one of the best. I love them all and I’m so glad that I went with Dr. Rosen for my surgery. I highly recommend anyone who suffering from sciatica, pinched nerves, discs problems, etc. he and nurse Rachel will take care of you and not disappoint you.. I rate them a 10 out of 10. Thank you so so much for helping me and caring for me. Sincerely, Marilyn Scott

My experience with Dr. Rosen and his amazing team was exactly what I needed and was searching for, as he was my 5th opinion, since my back problems started in 2020. He was friendly, honest and sincere during my consultation and gained my trust quickly, as he believes in addressing the problem directly but also left the ball in my court, never making me feel pressured to decide at any time. After trying injections, acupuncture, yoga stretches, physical therapy, weight loss & a chiropractor I had just about given up hope. We were referred to Dr. Rosen by a close friend so I made the appointment with low expectations, but quickly became a believer after reading many reviews and once I sat down with him. I felt reassured learning that he performs about 100 decompression & fusion procedures a year and that he’s an expert with the robotic technology in his field. I’m so grateful to Dr. Rosen and his team for taking care of me with the education before, procedure during & aftercare as it has been a top tier experience. He changed my life as of November 1st and I was up walking less than 24 hours post op, 7 weeks after my incisions look great, swelling is gone, X-rays look textbook, i’m off the walker & brace, cleared to drive starting with short local distances, cleared to fly and have noticed significant pain relief so far. It is a slow & long process up to a year+ but I am on track so far and could not be happier or more satisfied with my results. I would recommend Orlando Neurosurgery’s Dr. Rosen all day to anyone 10/10. Thank you!

Dr. Rosen changed our lives. At only 28 years old, my partner had a herniated disk in his spine and was out of work for months. Due to his age, doctors and insurance made him go through everything possible to avoid surgery. After two failed epidurals, months of physical therapy with no improvement, and lots of pain medication, he was finally sent to see a surgeon. He was extremely nervous, as he has a huge fear of anything medical, but he felt better after meeting Dr. Rosen. Dr. Rosen was very friendly, patient, informative, and caring during my partner's time with him. Everytime we heard his cheery, "It's Dr. Rosen!" as he entered the room, we were immediately comforted.
The day of surgery, we went to the surgery center and my partner's blood pressure was scaringly high due to normal high blood pressure and extreme nerves to have part of his spine removed. The nurses tried for two hours to get his blood pressure down so they could safely operate. When it still didn't go down, Dr. Rosen stated that he could not risk doing the surgery that day. He sent us over to the emergency room to help get his blood pressure under control and said we would try again once it is better.
After a couple of days of checking on him in the hospital, it was finally safe to do his surgery. Within an hour of being back in his recovery room, my partner stood up straight for the first time in nearly a year.
It has been about 6 months, and he is back to working up to 60 hours a week on his feet in a kitchen.
We cannot thank Dr. Rosen enough for giving us our lives back.
